What is NASN?
National Aesthetics & Spa Network (NASN) is not an association, but rather a network of spa professionals, spa owners, and licensed therapists who meet 2 times per year to learn, grow and network. SpaBizBoard

What is SpaBizBoard?
SpaBizBoard began in 2006 as a message board for spa professionals, and since then has evolved into a valuable resource for the spa industry. Much of the information contained within our walls is not intended for the general public and so in 2008 we closed the door to the public and became the only private subscription message board for spa professionals on the internet.

Membership in SBB is limited to those who have a direct connection to the spa business. Therefore, the general public, MLM skin care companies and spammers do not have access to our trade secrets or personal information.

How much does it cost to become a Member of SpaBizBoard?
We have three levels of membership and have purposely kept the membership fees extremely affordable to ensure that all interested spa professionals have an opportunity to join SpaBizBoard and learn from the best in the spa biz.

The membership levels are:
General Member - 25.00/one year
Private Member - 50.00/one year
Student Member - 10.00/six months (one-time only)

Who are the Members of SpaBizBoard?
Because of our secure privacy policy, we have attracted skin care companies, consultants, authors, instructors, school owners, spa owners, and spa directors who were previously hesitant to participate in publicly viewed message board threads. But now, fortunately we have the most knowledgeable in the spa business mingling with our estheticians, massage therapists and other licensed spa professionals.

Many skin care companies have informed us that they have specific employees assigned to follow the threads on SBB so they can keep up with our preferences and needs as to products, equipment, supplies, etc. Our vendor members have been especially kind to our membership by providing special SBB demos at trade shows and fabulous special pricing to our members. And we are very grateful to have them on board.

Private Membership is limited to estheticians only, and proof of current valid license is required. Although Private Members also have access to the General Area, General Members/vendors and reps are not allowed in the Private Area. Therefore, members can discuss in the Private Area specific details amongst themselves that they might not want the vendors, manufacturers, etc., to see.

What are the benefits of joining SpaBizBoard?
SBB members enjoy direct access to the leaders in the world of esthetics. This includes authors, lecturers, instructors, spa owners, consultants, vendors, and manufacturers. SBB members enjoy admittance to private SBB social functions at various trade shows around the country. You can keep informed about educational opportunities, hot new products and high-tech equipment. And each month, SBB Private Members have one-on-one access with a different individual vendor in our Vendor-of-the-Month Forum.

How can I become a member of SpaBizBoard?
If you would like to become a member of SpaBizBoard and you have a direct connection to, or specific interest in, the spa business, please begin by navigating to the SpaBizBoard page on this website to register.  Once you clear our spam check, you will be directed to the next 2 steps which are completing the required online Registration Form and choosing your subscription package.
